Travels Through the Kingdom

Novel excerpt

By In Read

Like a series of intertwined children’s fables for adults, “Travels Through the Kingdom” is an experimental novel set in a fictional world very like (or unlike) our own. We follow the lives of the citizens of the Kingdom as they deal with the challenges of their post-modern society and follow the progress of the “Passenger”, the world’s first attempt to contact a recently discovered distant planet at the edges of our solar system. Think 1984 meets Gabriel Garcia Marquez meets Vonnegut. Or something.

My fiction is represented by Annette Crossland of A for Authors in the UK. If you are a publisher wishing to find out more about Travels, please contact Annette at enquiries@aforauthors.co.uk

If you are a film producer or production company that wishes to discuss Travels, click here and I will send you the synopsis or full manuscript as soon as I possibly can.

I will answer mails to the best of my ability, but make no promises, except to completely and utterly ignore Trolls (unless of the mythical, under-the-bridge variety), Bots (or Bot-like humans), as well as Racists, Sexists, Misogynists, and Other Obvious Assholes.
