Education, Awards, Assorted Merits

I have attended a wide range of Universities (the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, the American College of Paris, and Umea University) and have studied Drama, History, Comparative Literature, Art History, and Nursing, managing to avoid a degree in any subject. I have won awards for copywriting, ranging from the best Swedish Annual Report to a Silver Lion in Cannes (copy for a website for a now defunct premium vodka brand). None of these occupy a space on my wall (but I do have a framed photo of me shaking hands with the King of Sweden and another of me and Buzz Aldrin somewhere in storage).

I am a decent cook and can go on at length about the merits of Eastern North Carolina barbeque or the proper way to grill Octopus.
